    • Hellcat V8 blower spacer plates before/after dyno - Trackhawk picks up 42 hp

      This is an interesting idea from Forced Induction Interchillers in Australia. They applied this blower spacer concept to factory supercharged GM LS motors before with success and now they trying it on the Hemi Hellcat supercharged V8's.


      The idea in principle is simple.

      The spacer plates:

      ✅Lower intake temps
      ✅Lower blower running temperature
      ✅Better resolution of IAT sensor
      ✅Eliminates factory gasket
      ✅Help reduce oil blow by

      It's a simple idea to move the blower a bit and make it run cooler.

      Now that the boost isnít leaking into the crankcase the pistons will travel down with more ease and the engine will be able to accelerate faster as well as the gain in HP acquired from the colder intake temps/increase in boost pressure.
      On the Jeep Trackhawk test car they pick up 42 horsepower:




      At $600 this is a no-brainer for increasing Hellcat V8 efficiency.

        Aftermarket ingenuity! Budgets restrict the oem engineers to how much they can change or improve an engine. This is a perfect example of that.

        If you take a look at the products these guys design everything is ingenuitive.

        Very cool outside the box thinking and innovative products.
